Our process.
Phase 1 – Feasibility
NOMAD’s highly-experienced Architectural and Permit Administration Team will complete research to confirm the development feasibility of your project. A report will then be issued summarizing compliance with local bylaws, site topography, heritage restrictions, and environmental considerations.
Phase 2 – Planning + Permit Application
Upon completing the feasibility analysis, NOMAD’s Architectural and Permit Administration Team will assemble the appropriate documents and drawing requirements for building permit application, including all a full set of architectural and structural drawings, structural calculations, and an energy efficiency report if required. NOMAD’s team will then follow up with the appropriate approving departments to obtain status and respond to any questions or comments.
Phase 3 – Production
Upon submission of the building permit application, NOMAD will initiate ordering the Cube 3 materials and prefabricated components.
Phase 4 – Permit Approval + Site Prep
NOMAD’s technical team will liaise with the project contractor to ensure that they have a full understanding of the building technology and assembly procedures. Prior to the issuance of the building permit, the project contractor can complete the site excavation, service trenching, and foundation formwork.
Phase 5 – Shipping
Upon delivery of materials and prefabricated components to our central warehouse, final packaging and quality control measures are employed before stacking them on a long-haul truck for delivery.
Phase 6 – Assembly
Upon delivery of the components, they are off-loaded by the project contractor and assembled in accordance with NOMAD’s easy-to-follow assembly guidelines.
